Midwam, a Saudi company based in Jeddah, is the only technology company of its kind in the Saudi market that provides 3D learning experience, hologram, and virtual reality solutions and also provides hardware, software, and content development targeting both government and private sectors.
Being introduced to this company as an interior designer, I got the opportunity to understand the functional space program and the operation of all the devices; what they do and how they work. Because none of the equipment had arrived yet, all of the knowledge I acquired was through reading materials not through firsthand experience.
The space holding these devices is vast with barefaced concrete walls and double height ceiling, which did not make it any easier. The design of the space was inspired by the functions of the technologies and the continuous evolution of such equipments. The zoning of the space was developed by using a dynamic grid, which created various sections that allowed an uninterrupted experience of all the technologies while giving the visitor easy access to all parts of the showroom. The walls were painted in dark grey tones to allow the maximum visual clarity of the devices.
After all the planning, constructing, and developing the showroom, Midwam has opened their gates to the Saudi market showcasing their unique and advanced equipments in a space that compliments it. We are glad to have a space for Midwam here in Zuhair Fayez Partnership Consultancy Company.
