Abraq al-Rughama

Jeddah

Abraq Al-Rughama is a monument that was built to commemorate the inclusion of the city of Jeddah under the fold of King Abdul Aziz and the banner of Saudi Arabia. The monument consists of a small museum and mosque. A tent roof over the museum symbolizes the tent camp set up King Abdul Aziz before he entered the city of Jeddah. The towering flag represents the Kingdom’s adherence to the Islamic faith.
