ADC Cultural Center

The cultural center (6,000 m²) consists of the bold and powerful design of an auditorium strengthened by the arms museum on one side and library on the other side. The building’s structure reinforces the overall shape and adds architectural depth and meaning to the created design. The textured concrete surfaces of the structure blend in with its sandy environment and add to the perception of strength and the credibility of the cantilevers. The contemporary form of the building is reinforced in the interior by its slew of clean and simple lines, which dramatize the overall internal spaces. The unity and harmony of the interior are further consolidated by utilizing the same simple vocabulary over all internal elements, including the balconies, seating, stage, and acoustic ceilings, resulting in a homogeny where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
