Abha

King Khaled University is located in the southeastern part of Abha city on almost 8 million m² of natural mountainous land. The built up area is approximately 11 million m² distributed into 4 academic zones; the male campus, the female campus, the male medical campus, and the female medical campus. The male medical campus capacity is for almost 15,000 male students studying in 5 colleges, with a built up area of almost 250,000 m² in one zone near the main teaching hospital of the university. The teaching hospital of King Khalid University is located between the male and female medical campuses on approximately 200,000 m² and linked with the male medical colleges and the female medical colleges through a suspended bridge on a natural narrow valley.
