Sharbatly Office Building

This is a 3 story office building located on the Jeddah-Makkah expressway in the East of Jeddah. The criteria set by the Client was to design a simple, cost effective office building, which would be easy and practical to use and maintain. The resultant design satisfies the above criteria and even goes beyond. Basically, the design is a rectangular cube with a grand arched entryway. All other openings are simple and rectangular in shape. At the ends, the building terminates into a cylindrical form, which gives an interesting relief to the straight lines of the cube. The simple landscaping outside provides a good setting for the building, and due to its open location, it is experienced from all sides.
