As Chief Operating Officer (COO) he has a dual role that combines the functions of chief executive and manager to oversee ZFP’s ongoing operations and procedures. He will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.   • Successfully completed all required roads during Saudi Aramco board visit (see certificate) Reports directly to the Sr. Project Manager.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to project engineers.
  • Delivering Monthly project update to Saudi Aramco Executive management in terms of expenditures, progress, quality and safety.

Position: Sr./Lead Project Engineer
Project: Jazan Refinery Project Department - Crude and Distillation Units (approx. $3 BILLION)

Achievements/Task:

  • Reporting to the Project manager in an LSTK project to build the Crude and Vacuum Distillation units for Jazan refinery (worth over 2 billion $.
  • Joined the team from signing the LSTK contract until construction completion, through all phases (Design, Procurement and construction).
  • Overall managing the Mechanical and piping units of the project and making sure all Saudi Aramco standards are followed.
  • Responsible for establishing Saudi Aramco office in Seoul, Korea. It included developing the internal office procedures for the division.
  • Stationed in Seoul, South Korea During the design phase from Nov. 2012 until 2015.
  • Resolving and coordinating technical issues with other Saudi Aramco entities i.e. Loss prevention, Consulting services, Fire prevention, operation and maintenance.
  • Managing the Pipe spool fabrication shop in Abu Dhabi and assuring alignment with construction schedule. Leading the piping construction team, includes leading the hydro test team.
  • Participating in negative change orders and value engineering initiatives that saved the project in total approximately 10 million $.

Project: King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) - Residential Division (approx.$ 1.5 BILLION)

Achievements/Task:

  • Managed a team of engineers to oversee the construction and handover of more than 3000 residential units
  • Residential units from 1, 2 & 3 bedroom Apartments as well as 2,3 & 4 bedroom villas
  • Lead a team dedicated to rectification of structural defect that occurred in 600 villas and completed the task on time prior to residents moving in.
  • Lead the Soil investigation in the residential area to analyze the sudden rise in water table (includes boreholes, test pits and installation of Piezometers).

  • Completed around 20 industrial design projects (Oil & Gas) with Aramco. Participated in project for Ministry of Health for designing hospitals.
  • Participated in design project for King Saud University Medical facility (ICU & Cardiac hospital). Involved in projects with Ministry of Hajj for designing the ministry branches and facilities.
