ZEEM Office Building

This relatively small office building for a corporate client is located in Riyadh. An important design requirement was for the building to signify a unique and individual presence albeit on a small site. The relatively solid exterior envelopes an open plan configuration on the interior. This plan provided maximum flexibility for the client to reconfigure internal arrangements easily with evolving circumstances. The serrated texture on the building’s exterior was incorporate to help reduce glare from the bright Riyadh sun. Fenestration was carefully calculated to provide adequate natural light for the internal office functions while minimizing excessive heat gain.
