Al-Ula

This project is the design of the Madain Saleh Airport in the historical region of Al-Ula in Saudi Arabia. The masterplan represented the ultimate development envisaged for this greenfield airport, which can be achieved through a phased expansion programme. The project duration was for 10 months and it was completed in 2004. The future development of the new airport comprised of a runway designed to handle a B747-400, a passenger terminal building of 4,000 m² with capacity of 70,000 ppa, provide a Level of Service B based upon IATA standards, and all associated infrastructure
